The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brunei Darussalam organized a meaningful painting competition under the theme “Children of Palestine” in commemoration of International Quds Day, observed on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the plight of the Palestinian people, particularly children, while encouraging artistic expression among young participants.
Students from Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri (STPRI) and Sekolah Rendah Datu Ratna Haji Muhammad Jaffar took part enthusiastically, presenting creative artworks that reflected themes of peace, resilience, and solidarity. The event provided a platform for students to express their perspectives on global humanitarian issues through art.
At the conclusion of the competition, selected artworks were carefully evaluated, and winners were awarded valuable prizes in recognition of their creativity and meaningful contributions. The event underscored the role of youth engagement and cultural initiatives in promoting awareness and compassion across communities.
