     On the morning of Friday, January 4, 2019, during a drone and helicopter attack by American forces on two vehicles near Baghdad Airport, General Soleimani, Commander of the Quds Force, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy Commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and several members of the Popular Mobilization Forces were martyred.
