Statement by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bandar Seri Begawan Regarding the Zionist regimes military aggression against Iran
Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bandar Seri Begawan condemned the Zionist regime’s early morning attacks on Tehran and other cities as a clear act of aggression and a violation of international law. The statement reaffirmed Iran’s right to self-defense and urged the UN and regional countries to take swift action against this threat to peace.
Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bandar Seri Begawan strongly condemns the criminal and unprovoked military aggression carried out by the Zionist regime in the early hours of today, which targeted residential areas in Tehran and other cities, leading to the martyrdom of a number of patriotic defenders of Iran and innocent civilians. This act constitutes a clear violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a blatant breach of Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter. Iran reserves its inherent right of self-defense under Article 51 of the Charter and will respond decisively at the time and manner of its choosing.
